Hello, I'm Sabine and I’m a midwife with my whole heart! I came into midwifery inspired through the life-changing experience of the pregnancy and birth of my own son in 2009; and have been practising in London since March 2015. I am a bilingual German-English speaker and many of my clients are German-speaking and value communicating with their midwife in their mother tongue.

 I hold a First Class Honours Bachelor of Science 'Midwifery Studies and Registration as a Midwife' Degree from King's College London. I also hold a 'Sign-Off' Midwifery Mentor qualification from the University of Greenwich, aquired in 2017. 

 My experience is mainly in midwifery-led care models and community settings and I have a special interest in home births, water births, HBACs and women who have previously experienced birth trauma. I have learned how kindness, compassion, a healthy portion of common sense, combined with evidence-based decision making, as well as the midwife’s trust in a woman’s ability to give birth naturally, enables women to tap into their own instinctive knowledge, wisdom and strength. 

 I care for families all over London and team-work with other Independent Midwives, obstetricians and therapists. Every family, every woman, every pregnancy, every birth, every baby are unique. I want to find out about you and work with you in a way that is the right way for you.
